Ace the interview
The first step towards being hired is completing the AI interview. Your performance during this evaluation and the proper match of your expertise with the job requirements will determine wether you will be offered an opportunity to join.
Step 1: Fill the Form
Upon clicking the Apply button on the top right corner of this page you will be redirected to micro1’s website. Your first step towards getting your interview link is filling the form on the right of the job description.
You should fill the form with your best email as it will follow you along your journey with micro1 and will be the main channel for communication from now on.
Complete the rest of the required information and adjust the hourly rate according to your level of expertise for the job. Some technical questions related to the position might appear on the form - be sure to answer them with the best of your knowledge.
Step 2: Perform well on the Interview
After succesfully filling the form you will be redirected to a new tab for the interview.
Don’t worry if you cannot take the interview right away. A link will be sent to the email you filled on the form. But make sure to take the interview as soon as possible since job openings are filled fast. Completition up to 48 hours after applying is recommended.
The interview will be conducted in spoken English by micro1’s AI agent with a duration of ~30 min. Be sure to prepare an introduction of your background related to the job you are applying to.
As a way of evaluating your expertise, a series of technical questions will be asked during the interview. Make sure to study beforehand the topics related to your field and the specific topics detailed on the job and interview descriptions. This will aid you in demonstrating the best of your knowledge and your full potential.
On some interviews, a written exercise might be applied after the spoken phase. Take good care of the timer for the exercise and prepare beforehand for written questions which are related to the job position.
After you successfully finish the interview, you will receive an email confirmation.
You cannot take an interview for the same position more than once, so prepare well and make sure you take your best shot at it.

If you were able to fully show your knowledge and expertise on the AI interview and the agent determined you were a good match, you are now able to start working at micro1.
Document Submission and Contract Sign
Once approved, you will receive an email with all of the information for onboarding. The screening process might take some time (up to 1 month at times), so keep busy with interviewing for other micro1 job openings, but don’t rule out positions you have taken the interview for in the past.
You will go through an indentity confirmation and document submission process, which highlights the serious and commited procedure which micro1 employs for each new hire until the contract is signed.

What you should keep in mind
First of all, being hired by micro1 is possible if you follow all of the above mentioned steps, but it might take some practice and more than one interview to get fully used to the process - many candidates even wrongly judge the platform as just an excuse for training an AI interviewer.
Do not get discouraged if you do not get hired in your first attempts - consistency, proper skill matching and pratice is all it takes - the compensation and flexibility are definetely worth the effort.
Once you are succesfully hired to the platform, you will be part of a project where many other experts apply their knowledge to evolve the AI model. The duration of the project might vary from a couple of months to more than half a year and above. But keep in mind that the customer will always want to reach their goals as fast as possible.
This means that you should not settle down once you get hired. Lower your interview taking effort, but do not hesitate to apply to positions which are a good match to your abilities and expertise as this will ensure you keep working at full pace for as long as you like.
