Ace the interview
Getting hired starts with a simple AI interview. This is your space to showcase your background, highlight your skills, and see if this role is the perfect match for you
Step 1: Fill the Form
Upon clicking the Apply button at the top right of this page, you’ll be redirected to micro1’s site to fill out a quick form (takes under 2 minutes):
Use your primary email: This will be your main contact channel throughout your journey with micro1.
Set your hourly rate: Adjust it based on your experience and skill level.
Technical questions: You may see a few short questions — keep your answers clear, concise, and to the point.
Step 2: Take the Interview
Once you submit the form, you will be redirected to the interview page.
No need to rush: If you aren’t in a quiet space or ready, simply check your inbox for your personal interview link. We recommend completing it at your convenience until 48 hours after you receive the message (make sure to check your Spam folder just in case!).
What to expect during the interview:
Friendly AI Interviewer: You will have a ~30-minute conversational chat in spoken English with micro1’s AI agent. It’s designed to be stress-free, conversational, and flexible.
Your Background & Tech Skills: You’ll briefly share your experience and answer a few technical questions related to your field.
Coding/Written Tasks: Depending on the role, a short timed exercise may follow the spoken session.
Tips for success:
Use a computer with a working mic and camera in a quiet room.
Review the job description and refresh your knowledge on the key technical topics related to the role.
Take a deep breath and showcase your skills — you’ve got this!
Once finished, you’ll receive an immediate email confirmation from micro1.
You are in!
Once you have fully shown your knowledge and expertise on the AI interview and the agent determined you were a good match, you are now able to start working at micro1.
Document Submission and Contract Sign
Once approved, you will receive an email with all of the information for onboarding. The screening process might take some time (up to 1 month at times), so keep busy with interviewing for other micro1 job openings, but don’t rule out positions you have taken the interview for in the past.
You will go through an indentity confirmation and document submission process, which highlights the serious and commited procedure which micro1 employs for each new hire until the contract is signed.

Being a remote AI trainer gives you the freedom to work at your own terms, but this also means you should be aware of all of the shortcomings of this line of work and how to effectively address them to continue at full pace.
What you should keep in mind
First of all, being hired by micro1 is possible if you follow all of the above mentioned steps, but it might take some practice and more than one interview to get fully used to the process - many candidates even wrongly judge the platform as just an excuse for training an AI interviewer.
Do not get discouraged if you do not get hired in your first attempts - consistency, proper skill matching and pratice is all it takes - the compensation and flexibility are definetely worth the effort.
Once you are succesfully hired to the platform, you will be part of a project where many other experts apply their knowledge to evolve the AI model. The duration of the project might vary from a couple of months to more than half a year and above. But keep in mind that the customer will always want to reach their goals as fast as possible.
This means that you should not settle down once you get hired. Lower your interview taking effort, but do not hesitate to apply to positions which are a good match to your abilities and expertise as this will ensure you keep working at full pace for as long as you like.
